A Stormy Night in Cappella Maggiore
What a day we had today! Katia and Michaelangelo came bright and early this morning and then we jumped right into the pool. Even if I wasn't that into swimming today, I still had to get in the water because it was just too hot to sit in the sun and watch the kids. After we played in the pool, we showered off and then Katia made my favorite for lunch, pesto pasta! We played lots of game in the afternoon and went for a little bike ride with the kids, nothing like yesterday! The kids played and played, while I was cleaning up after each mess they made while playing a different game! At least they had fun, that's all that really matters. We had a delicious dinner inside tonight because it was starting to storm really bad. The windows were shaking and the shutters were crashing against the house. It never rained but just very windy with thunder and lightning! I am happy there was a storm because that means that I have fresh air in my room tonight and a slight breeze! Perfect! Gianna asked me today if I wanted to go to the beach on Saturday with them. Obviously, I said yes but there was a slight catch...she wants to leave by 5am so we can be there before anyone else and watch the sunrise! Even though that is incredibly early, I am so down for that idea because it will be just beautiful! I can't picture this beach with no one there so it will be fun to have it all to ourselves! Ciao!
