A Nice Day At Home

Today was nice to be with the silence...no screaming girls, no busy errands to run...just time for me and Momo! We took a nice walk today but the mosquitos and the heat are pretty bad so we went home on a shortcut. I had a good idea to bike to the market, about 1 1/2 kilometers away. I was all ready to go but then, a travesty...the gate wouldn't close! Angelo just had this gate fixed last week and it already isn't working! I called Gianna to see if there was anything I could do to close it but it can't be fixed until later this week. She also said the msrket is closed on Sundays so my plan was foiled. Momo and I just went for a small bike ride instead. So the gate being open worries me a little...the house is open to anyone on the street. I already locked all the doors and windows for tonight so hopefully the gypsies will be busy somewhere else tonight! Tomorrow, I am going to take the bus to town in the morning to go to the post office, buy some fruit and vegetables, and find some deodorant! It is a necessity here! Ciao!
