Sunday at the Beach!
Today, we traveled about 1 hour to a city by the Adriatic Sea called Brussa. It is a very small town but surprisingly has a lot of shops and fast food, solely because of all the tourist traffic to and from the sea all summer. We left the house at 10:00 and didn't come back until about 8:00...let's just say that I had way too much sun today. I am so burnt...I have never been this badly burnt on my legs in my life. I accidentally fell asleep in a lounge chair and when I woke up, the sun had moved away from my umbrella and right onto my legs...it is awful! My face, chest, legs, arms, back...everything is burnt! I don't know how I am going to sleep tonight but hopefully I can. Tomorrow, the girls have school for one more week so I am sleeping in while I still can! I might go pick them up in the afternoon, we'll see. Ciao for now, I am exhausted and hurting EVERYWHERE! Angelo and Gianna told me today that when I go back to the States, that they won't recognize me because I will be tan! I don't think they understand that I don't tan...just burn and go straight back to being plain old white. Enjoy the pictures!

O love! You make me laugh, I can't wait to get some sun, it is going to be rainy the next two days then by next Saturday it should be close to 100 degrees! Yay. I am ready for a good tan. Miss you tons, loving all the post, so glad your having a blast.

ReplyDeleteHaha thanks Michelle! No nude beaches for me! Gianna told me that about 3 kilometers down the beach, there is a nude beach there...I might have to go check it out next time!
